As we were walking outside the Topshop Unique venue, I spotted Julia Hafstrom sitting on a ledge beside a photographer searching through a gigantic map. I went up to her and asked her for a picture. She seemed somewhat surprised and happy that I could recognise her. She was very polite and sweet, especially when I told her that I liked her Prada FW09 campaign. There's something very natural and wholesome to her look that photographs beautifully.
There has been a great deal of buzz around her lately with a Vogue Italia editorial by Steven Meisel, a spot in the multi-girl FW09 Prada campaign and a Dazed & Confused cover, it's surprising that she didn't book a helluva lot of shows this season.
